Humber bridge community run raises over £1,000
Community members and local police came together on April 22nd in aid of the Police Dependants’ Trust.
Organised by local fitness expert Lorraine Carey, over twenty runners, walkers, wheelers, kids, dogs, doctors, and police officers (serving and retired) took part in a self-organised run across the Humber Bridge raising over £1,000 for the Police Dependants’ Trust.
As well as messages of support from Humberside Police, CEO Gill Scott-Moore said, “it is truly humbling to see local communities come together to show solidarity and support for police officers injured and killed on duty.
